Reflection, Action, Partnership (RAP) Day 2024

Thank you for your interest in the Annual CESP Conference: "Reflection, Action, Partnership (RAP) Day". This conference will take place on Friday, February 9th from 2:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m.

RAP Day is a student-led conference that aims to connect other scholars and undergraduates doing community engagement work. This year's theme is "Building Bridges: Local and Global Storytelling for Change". In the spirit of this theme, we will be providing opportunities to hear and learn from various organizations who focus on several topics related to storytelling for social change in many different ways.

RAP Day is open to any undergraduate students across the UMN-TC  who are interested in community engagement (including those enrolled in the CESP program and those who are not enrolled).

You will have the chance to reflect on your community engagement experiences collectively and individually. RAP Day is also an opportunity to meet other students and learn from community engagement professionals across a variety of social issues.  If you are a scholars in the CESP program, attending RAP Day will also give you the opportunity to fulfill up to three various CESP reflection requirements, including Sense of Self, Identity, Power, and Privilege, Collaboration and Community Building, and Agency.

For this event, participants do need to be available for the entire conference. If you have class during any of this event time we will help you advocate for an excused absence as this is a University of Minnesota sponsored event.
