2025 4-H Camp at Lake Shetek: Camp Counselor Application
SW MN 4-H Camp Counselor applications are now open for youth in grades 9 and older.
 
CAMP INFORMATION
Encampment 1:  June 23-25, 2025
Encampment 2:  June 25-27, 2025
Location:  Shetek Lutheran Ministries camp on Lake Shetek
Age of Campers:  Open to youth in grades 3-6 (completed May 2025)
 
Your attendance at the following trainings/planning sessions are expected -->
Returning counselors will share experiences and assist with training new counselors.
 
CAMP COUNSELOR TRAINING
Sunday, March 23, 2025, from 1:00-6:00 p.m. at the 4-H Building in Slayton. 
SNOW Date: Sunday, March 30, 2025, from 2:00-7:00 p.m. at the 4-H Building in Slayton. 

CAMP PLANNING MEETING
Wednesday, June 4, 2025, from 10:00 am-4:00 p.m. at Shetek Lutheran Ministries, Lake Shetek
 
CAMP WEEK
Arrival: Monday, June 23 at 10 am
Departure: Friday, June 27 at 2 pm
Counselors have the option of participating in one or both encampments; please see selection below.

4-H Camp Counselor applications will be reviewed by Extension staff.  You will be notified by Feb. 21 if you have been selected as a Camp Counselor.

Thank you for completing the 2025 4-H Camp Counselor application.  Applications will be reviewed after the January 31 deadline.  All applicants will be notified by February 21 of selection choices.  Be sure to mark your calendar for the Camp Counselor Training on Sunday, March 23 from 1:00-6:00 p.m. at the Murray County 4-H Building in Slayton.
