Mental Health First Aid Training                          UMN College of Pharmacy
Mental Health First Aid teaches participants to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental illness and substance use disorders. College of Pharmacy is invested in equipping each member of our community with the skills and confidence to provide initial support to those who are experiencing a crisis.

The Mental Health First Aid training is comprises of 2 parts. 
Part 1 (on your own; required) This is a self-paced, 2-hour training.
Part 2 (group session; held virtually over Zoom from 9:00-3:30; required) Please plan to be available for the full 6.5 hours, with a 30 minute break for lunch. The lunch break time is not set; based on the pace of the group.

Part 2 of the training is entirely virtual, so a webcam and microphone are required to participate. Please be in a quiet space with adequate internet access and limited distractions throughout the session.
