The
goal
of
OIT-AT’s
Canvas
Student
mobile
app
investigations
is
to
better
understand
the
strengths
and
limitations
of
the
Canvas
Student
App
in
order
to
1.
give
faculty
guidance
as
to
how
design
decisions
might
impact
students
using
the
Canvas
Student
app,
and
2.
help
students
understand
how
and
when
use
of
the
Canvas
Student
mobile
app
is
appropriate.
This
investigation
was
motivated
by
the
realization
that
in
Spring
2020
many
students
were
separated
from
campus
resources
they
might
otherwise
have
available,
and
were
depending
on
their
devices
to
accomplish
academic
work.
