EXHIBITION CALL FOR ENTRIES
"Looking Forward, Looking Back: 100 Years of Design Graduate Education"
Goldstein Museum of Design, University of Minnesota College of Design

Design graduate program alumni, and graduate students, visiting scholars, and faculty from any discipline--past and present-- are invited to participate in this juried exhibition showcasing work from the past 100 years.

Submit your work | Deadline February 15, 2018 (DEADLINE EXTENDED!)

SUBMISSION CRITERIA:
Maximum number of two submissions per person

Work may be from time as a student, visiting scholar, or faculty member, or from the maker's professional career including:
                              Apparel, Accessories, Jewelry
                              Textiles
                              Interior Design
                              Housing Programs, Strategies/Plans
                              Graphic
                              Drawing, Photographs, Illustrations, Painting
                              Store/Merchandise Projects, Plans
                              Photographs of Book Covers with Title and Author Prominent
                              Other: If not listed, ask for further information
 
PROCESS:
1. Complete the entry form below for each submission.

2. Submit digital image(s) via email or file transfer (e.g, Dropbox or similar site) to:  design100@umn.edu 

Digital Image(s) must be:
                            * High resolution (300 dpi, printable at a minimum of 41" wide)
                            * pdf or jpg file format
                            * Include multiple images to show all sides of object, if needed.
                            * If image includes text, it must be 18 point type or larger to facilitate reading.
                            * File name must include the maker's last name, year produced, and project name in this format:
                               Lastname_year_projectname.jpg

For objects selected for physical display:
                            *Shipping to and from the Goldstein Museum of Design is the responsibility of the submitter. Please
                              include return shipping labels and postage with your submission.

SCHEDULE:
Submission deadline (entry form + related images): February 15, 2018 (NOTE: DEADLINE EXTENDED!)
Participant selection notification: April 1, 2018
Final submission of entry, if physical object is requested: June 30, 2018
Exhibition: August-December, 2018
Celebration: Saturday, September 29, 2018
