EAB & Oriental Bittersweet Volunteer Survey Registration Form
Come learn how to identify emerald ash borer or Oriental bittersweet and help the Minnesota Department of Agriculture (MDA) and the University of Minnesota Extension collect presences and absences data about these troublesome invasive species.

Some knowledge of trees and forest invasive species is helpful, likely participants include Master Naturalist, Master Gardeners, Tree Care Advisors and natural resource professionals.

These events are free; participants will be expected to participate in the survey. The survey will likely included walking outside in winter and traveling in teams or small groups along survey routes. Participants should come dressed for the weather. Lunch will be provided.

Survey events will begin at 9:00 AM and are likely to end about 3:30 PM. Specific meeting locations will be emailed in advance of each survey. General locations and specific dates are provided below.

These survey activities are funded by the US Farm Bill via the MDA.
