Berlin
Today we arrived in Berlin after taking a two hour train ride through the rural Saxony and Brandenburg countryside. We met with the German Academic Exchange Service and UBA (German equivalent of the EPA).

Chemnitz city and TU Chemnitz
Today, the group travelled to Chemnitz city, about an hour drive from Dresden. There, we toured the city of Chemnitz, as well as the Technische Universität Chemnitz.

Today is our third day in Germany and we visited Dresden's Zwinger mit Semperbau, a historic building.

Travel Dates: Saturday, March 11-Sunday, March 19, 2017 (Spring Break)
Location and Description
Experience Germany, a hub of European research and industry. This group will visit universities and research centers in Berlin and Dresden. Professor Stadler will introduce students to state-of-the-art research practices in Europe and compare the European Union (EU) and United States research methods using nanotechnology as a case study.
