Connecting via NoMachine to lts.cla.umn.edu

Prerequisites

Before you get started, please note that lts.cla.umn.edu is not a compute server but rather a gateway to our other compute resources such as compute.cla.umn.edu.  As such, please don’t run any compute intensive processes on it. Once you are connected to lts you will open a terminal and run a qsub command to start a job (more info below).
