The Contributions of Immigrants to Minnesota and its Communities
This symposium, which is part of the Interdisciplinary Collaborative Workshop, "Migration and Migrants in Terrifying Times," will be held on Thursday, May 9, from 6:30-8:00pm in Cowles Auditorium at the Humphrey School of Public Affairs at the University of Minnesota. From 6:00-6:30pm, light appetizers and drinks will be available in the atrium adjoining Cowles Auditorium. The event itself will start promptly at 6:30. Parking ramps are located on 19th Ave and 21st Ave.

Keynote speakers include Susan Brower (MN State Demographer), Dave Kleis (Mayor of the City of St. Cloud), and Jane Graupman (Executive Director of the International Institute). The event will be moderated by Mukhtar Ibrahim (Founder and Editor of the Sahan Journal).
