The 30th Magnetic Recording Conference
July 8-10, 2019
The 30th Magnetic Recording Conference (TMRC 2019) will be held July 8-10, 2019 at the campus of the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, MN. This year's conference focuses on significant new advances in mangetic storage including: Solid State Magnetic Memory and Recording Techbologies for >3 Tbits/in2.
Approximately 36 invited papers of the highest quality will be presented orally at the conference and will later be published in the IEEE Transactions on Magnetics. Poster sessions will also be held following the oral sessions and will feature posters from the invited speakers and accepted contributed posters. Both invited and contributed papers are encouraged for publication.

All refund/cancellation requests must be provided in writing and received by 17 June 2019. There will be an administrative fee of US$25 deducted from each refund. There will be no refunds after 17 June 2019.

Publication Information for Authors
Presenters of invited talks and posters are strongly encouraged to submit a paper for consideration for publication in the February 2020 issue of IEEE Transactions on Magnetics. The length of contributed papers should be between four (4) and five (5) journal pages; invited papers should not be less than seven (7) pages and not exceed fifteen (15) journal pages.
Participation at the conference does not guarantee that a paper will be accepted for publication. All papers will be evaluated by two independent peer reviewers to determine suitability for publication.
All papers must be submitted for review and final submission online through the IEEE Transactions on Magnetics (Conferences) site, Manuscript Central (Link).
Submission of TMRC 2019 papers will be possible until 21st June 2019.
