The Social Justice Leadership Certificate Program (SJLC) is an opportunity for students to explore identity, social justice concepts, and create a brave space for open and honest conversations. The program is comprised of monthly sessions which span the academic year. This program works in conjunction with the Social Justice Action Living Learning Community and the Social Justice Leadership Retreat held annually by the Office of Housing and Residential Life and Multicultural Student Engagement (Jan 17-19, 2020). Upon completion, students will receive a notation on their Student Experience Record in GopherLink and a certificate of completion.
Students applying for the Social Justice Leadership Certificate Program will be required to attend monthly sessions as well as complete an Action Project and attend field trips within the community.
