Women's Faculty Cabinet Diversity Retreat
The Women's Faculty Cabinet (WFC) was created to provide leadership to improve and enrich the academic and professional environments for women faculty at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, and to ensure that the University continues to strengthen its commitment to the success of its women faculty members. As part of this mission, the WFC is responsible for promoting and assessing the University’s commitment to the diversity of women faculty. To advance this goal, the WFC Diversity Committee is holding a retreat with women faculty to discuss issues of equity and diversity on the Twin Cities campus.

This retreat will serve as a follow up to the survey prepared by the Committee earlier this semester which asked women faculty to rate the institutional culture and climate at the University of Minnesota. The Committee will present the initial results of this survey and hold breakout sessions to engage in a continuing conversation surrounding issues, concerns, and visions for promoting the recruitment, retention, and success of diverse faculty at the University. This dialogue is intended to help inform decision-makers and to improve campus climate and achieve equity and diversity goals.

We hope you can join us for this conversation from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 26, at the Minneapolis Woman's Club. Light hors d’oeuvres and refreshments will be served.
