Demetrius Douglas ranked third on the team in 2018 in all-purpose yards
Everyone knows that Mohamed Ibrahim and Tyler Johnson produced a ton of yards last season, but do you know who was third on the team in all-purpose yards?
If you said Demetrius Douglas then you are correct. The redshirt freshman caught nine passes for 87 yards and one touchdown in 2018, but he was a star in the return game.
Douglas returned 24 kickoffs for 594 yards (24.75 average) and his long return was 87 yards at Nebraska. He also returned seven punts for 113 yards (16.14 average), which included a 69-yard return for a touchdown at Wisconsin. The legacy Gopher (son of Omar Douglas) finished third on the team – behind Ibrahim and Johnson with 794 all-purpose yards (594 kick return, 113 punt return and 87 receiving).
