Brett Duden Memorial Scholarship Application - Due June 10th!
The Brett Duden Memorial Scholarship Fund was established by the Duane Duden Family in March of 1981. Scholarship of $200 is provided by this fund annually. The scholarship was developed to give financial assistance to a Goodhue County 4-H member who is pursuing an agricultural related field and is a senior in High School or first year college or technical college student. The scholarship will be available for use during the student's second year in college or other vocational school.
ELIGIBILITY
To be eligible for this award, the applicant must:
1. Apply for the scholarship by June 10, 2024.
2. Have graduated from high school this year or have completed their first year at a college or other vocational school.
3. Be an enrolled 4-H member of Goodhue County.
OR
4. Be an enrolled student with a declared agriculture major at a college or vocational school.
SELECTION
The applications are removed of all identifying information (name, address, email etc.) and then reviewed by the 4-H Council Awards and Scholarship Committee. This committee consists of adults and youth who serve on council. Individuals who have submitted an application are not allowed to participate on the committee. Once the applications have been reviewed and ranked, 4-H staff will review them and decide any tie breakers or discrepancies.
