The Division of Physical Therapy at the University of Minnesota invites you to this continuing education event.
The event includes 4 Contact Hours/Category 1 Continuing Education plus a snack and beverage.
Note: Participants are not allowed to bring food, beverages, cell phones, or cameras into the anatomy labs.

About the Course

Discussion of the clinical applications of multiple anatomical points. Participants will be divided into groups and rotate through anatomical stations. The overview at each station will emphasize the muscles, nerves, arteries, and joint structures of the upper and lower extremities, plus neck, back, and abdominal wall.

  1. Observe arrangement of muscles, nerves, vessels, and joints of the extremities, back, neck, abdominal wall, and pelvic floor.
  2. Discuss common clinical conditions and treatment approaches based on the observed anatomy.
  3. Observe the gross features of the heart (chambers, valves, coronary vessels) and lungs.
  4. Observe the gross features of the brain (lobes, gyri, sulci, brainstem, vessels, etc.) and spinal cord.



 
Parking: Suggested parking is at East River Road Garage or Washington Avenue Parking Ramp . (not included)
