 4-H Wild West Camp Benton 2024

Saddle up for a wild west 4-H camp. Camp Benton is an incredible opportunity to make new friends this summer while learning different skills, taking adventures and enjoying the great outdoors. lasso a good time & Register for Camp Benton today!

What is Camp Benton:  Try something new at a wonderful 4-H summer camp by attending Camp Benton. An overnight resident camp with 4-H hands-on learning and outdoor activities over 2 ½ days. The camp experience includes games, recreation, dancing, swimming, campfires, unique adventures, skits, workshops, singing, and of course, fun.

Who:  Open to grades 2 to 8. (Grade completed in May 2024)

When:  Camp I (Grades 2-5) will be held July 8-10.  Camp 2 (Grades 6-8) will be held July 10-12.

**Camp 2 will travel to an island for a picnic on Friday.

Where:  Camp Koronis 15752 Lake Avenue, Paynesville, MN, bus transportation from Foley.

Cost: $130     

Registration: To register, return the registration form and camp fee by Tuesday, June 25. About a week before camp, finalized details will be mailed to the campers.

Monday, July 8th

(Camp 1 Departure)

All campers needing transportation to camp can ride the bus. We will have TWO pick up locations.

 

Extension Office in Foley 531 Dewey Street at 9:00 am BUS DEPARTS at 9:30 Sharp

Runnings Parking Lot, 501 US Highway 10 SE St. Cloud at 9:50am

Make sure you eat a nice breakfast before you get on the bus!  You will have lunch at noon.

(If you are NOT planning for the bus, meet at the Camp Koronis 15752 Lake Ave Paynesville by 11 AM 

 

Wednesday, July 10th

(Camp 1 returns, Camp 2 departure)

Camp 2 Departure

Friday, July 12th

Camp 2 Return Friday

Camp 2 campers will return to Runnings in St. Cloud at 4:20 pm

Camp 2 campers will return to Extension Office in Foley at 4:55 pm

Deadline to register is Tuesday, June 25, 2024.  We will mail you a packing list and health forms prior to camp. Please send your $130 payment for camp to the Extension Office PO Box 650 Foley MN 56329. Checks payable to Benton County 4-H.  Be sure to bring COMPLETED Health Form with your camper along with any medications when you drop them off.  If you have questions please call the office 320.968.5077.
