ISSS: Emergency Funds Summer 2023.

Brief Description:

For Students: Emergency Funds can provide financial assistance for degree-seeking international students enrolled at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities who have experienced financial challenges due to unforeseen circumstances. Emergency Funds can cover short term needs like medical bills, rent, food and living expenses.

For Students: Emergency Funds can provide financial assistance for degree-seeking international students enrolled at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities who have experienced financial challenges due to unforeseen circumstances. Emergency Funds can cover short term needs like medical bills, rent, food and living expenses. 

Special Eligibility Requirements:

  • Have financial need.
  • Be admitted to and enrolled in a degree program at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities.
  • Have a short-term financial need.
  • Be registered for at least one credit. 
  • Be making satisfactory academic progress.
  • Be in legal F-1 or J- 1 student status while attending the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. 
  • Spend reasonably and frugally.
