Our mission is to help families heal children who are adopted, in foster care and advocate for those remaining in institutional care throughout the world. Your gift of $500 will help to launch our exciting plan to build the first true “home” for the AMC. This dedicated space will bring together our team members and providers and create a safe, friendly environment for children to have their clinical appointments.

Who We are:
The AMC at the University of Minnesota is a multidisciplinary expert team in helping children who have experienced early adversity. Our outpatient clinic serves families with children adopted domestically, internationally, and in foster care. Founded in 1986, our clinic is a global leader in adoption medicine, research, education and advocacy. We provide pre-adoption consultation, medical review, travel counseling, and comprehensive post-adoption and out of home placement care. Additionally, we provide resources and advocate for children who are adopted, in foster care, and those remaining in institutional care around the world.
