Bailey Soma '22

Hi all! I’m Bailey Soma and I’m a graduating senior in the Public Health program at UMD. My main health interest is global health. I hope to someday work with an array of health issues on a large scale. I also have an interest in nonprofits and volunteer organizations in impoverished areas. In pursuit of learning more about these interests, I am a research assistant under Dr. Marzell Gray in the Public Health program this year. I’m also an academic intern with St. Louis County Public Health and have been working on several projects over the course of the semester. I hope you enjoyed our showcase!

Mary Pelletier '22

Hello everyone! My name is Mary Pelletier and I am a Public Health major at UMD. I am excited to graduate this spring! My health interests include global health disparities and women's health. After graduation, I plan on attending graduate school at the University of Glasgow and studying Global Health. Through my senior year, I worked as Dr. Gray's research assistant and learned so much about how the research process works. Thank you for taking the time to look at our showcase!
