This year's volunteer training topic will be about helping youth find their spark! A spark is a passion for a self-identified interest or skill that metaphorically lights a fire in a young person’s life, providing energy, joy, purpose and direction. Having a spark or sparks gives a young person a sense of direction and encourages goal setting.
This training is open to all Adult Volunteers and Youth in Olmsted, Goodhue, Dodge, Fillmore, Wabasha, Mower, Winona, and Houston Counties.
Each club must have one adult volunteer attend trainings annually. Youth are encouraged to attend as well. Trainings are offered in multiple locations and times in the fall.
4-H Youth Officer Training will be offered at the Rochester Location for each officer position. Youth should be enrolled/re-enrolled prior to this training.
