SELFsustain 2020 - UMN Systemwide Retreat
Apply here by March 27 to attend the 9th Annual System-wide Student Engagement Leadership Forum on Sustainability (SELFsustain) April 17 at noon to 3 pm on April 18, 2020 at the University of Minnesota - Crookston!
PURPOSE: SELFsustain is a unique opportunity for student leaders from all U of M campuses (Crookston, Duluth, Morris, Rochester, Twin Cities) to connect. Attendees will enjoy interactive discussions, presentations, and tours throughout the conference. They'll also build relationships with each other, teach each other about the tangible changes happening on each of our campuses and beyond, and leave as further-empowered leaders. Plus, attendees will get a chance to see first-hand some of UMN Crookston's claims to fame - including the truly unique prairie chickens!
LOGISTICS: Conference registration includes food, housing, and transportation and will be FREE for students who are selected to attend. Students will stay at the AmericInn in Crookston.
PRESENT: SELFsustain attendees have the chance to present lightning talks (three to five minute presentations) on their sustainability work/research/projects to the other attendees. Students are highly encouraged to present. This is a great opportunity to get feedback and ideas from fellow students and a comfortable environment in which to practice presenting on your work. You'll have a chance to indicate your interest in presenting later in this form, but we hope you're already planning to say yes!
