UMD Music alumna Sarah Knott features a world premier of “Brittle, Bright” a song cycle composed by UMD Professor Brad Bombardier with text by Duluth poet Marion Thompson van Steenwyk.



 


About Sarah Knott

Sarah Knott

Originally from Iowa, Sarah Knott received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Voice Performance and Flute Performance from Waldorf College (Iowa) and a Master Degree in Voice Performance from the University of MN Duluth. She has performed in countless productions throughout the entirety of the United States. The mezzo-soprano, has received praise from Opera News and has earned many awards. Her most notable is her First Prize award in the Thursday Musical Competition and Schubert Club Competition in St. Paul, MN.
