SowBridge

Piglets nursing.

SowBridge provides relevant and accurate information from university and industry experts online.

Get the information you need without having to travel or give up a whole day to attend a meeting. Producers and others in the industry can participate from home, at the office or in the swine unit.

How does SowBridge work?

Register in January for a year of monthly SowBridge presentations.

Live presentations are delivered by topic experts on Zoom. Recordings are available online for 6 months after the session. Before each session, subscribers will receive an email message with links to participate and download the materials for that session.

SowBridge is for people who manage or care for sows, their litters, or boars, including operation owners, employees, technicians, managers and technical service providers. Sessions generally take place on the first Wednesday of the month all year. Sessions start at 11:15 a.m. Central Time and last no longer than 60 minutes, which includes time for questions.

SowBridge is sponsored by a group of 15 university Extension programs. Sarah Schieck Boelke and Lee Johnston of University of Minnesota Extension are program coordinators. The Iowa Pork Industry Center coordinates all registration, payment and subscriber mailings.
