Freshman Crousore Earns Top Ten Finish At B1G Championships

BALTIMORE, Md. - University of Minnesota freshman Jack Crousore led the Golden Gophers with a top-10 finish at the Big Ten Conference Championships Sunday in Baltimore, Md., at Baltimore Country Club. 

The Maroon and Gold concluded the 2025 Big Ten Conference Championships in 10th place with a score of 26-over par (281-280-305–866). 

In its first year in the conference, UCLA captured the conference title with a score of 2-over par. The Bruins' own Omar Morales earned medalist honors, taking home a score of 7-under par. 



Notable: 
Securing his fourth top-20 finish in his last five tournaments, Crousore earned himself a seventh-place finish in his first appearance in the conference tournament. The Gopher freshman nabbed two birdies in his final round, concluding the tournament with a score of even-par (69-66-75). 

Carding three birdies in his final round, junior Cormac Sharpe finished the tournament tied for 23rd, with a score of 6-over par (72-71-73). 

Freshman Chun-Ta Wu concluded the tournament with a score of 11-over par and tied for 50th (72-72-77). 

Senior Eduardo Galdos (68-75-80) finished the tournament with a score of 13-over par and tied for 65th, with fellow senior Bennett Swavely (73-71-80) finishing with a score of 14-over par, tied for 72nd. 

Looking Ahead:
The Gophers will wait to see if any individuals are selected for the NCAA Regionals. The NCAA Men's Golf Regional selection show will be televised via Golf Channel on Wednesday April 30, beginning at 12 p.m. CT.
