The Robert Bosch Foundation Fellowship Program is a distinguished international initiative that each year offers accomplished young Americans the opportunity to gain paid high-level professional experience in Germany. Fellows complete placements at leading institutions, attend professional seminars, and receive intensive language training. The fellowship provides a monthly stipend, health insurance, all program-related travel costs, language training in Berlin, and private German tutoring prior to departure as needed. Fellows are competitively chosen from the fields of public policy and administration, foreign and security policy, urban and regional planning, business, journalism and communications, law, or cultural and arts management. Knowledge of German is not required at the time of application.

The Alfa Fellowship Program is a high-level professional development program placing up to 18 accomplished American, German, and British citizens per year in work assignments at leading organizations in Russia in the fields of public policy, economics, journalism, law, business, and related areas. The key goals of the Alfa Fellowship Program are expanding networks of American, British, and German professionals, developing greater intercultural understanding, and advancing knowledge of Russian affairs in the West. The program includes language training, seminar and lecture series, regional trips, and extended professional experience. Fellows receive a generous monthly stipend, all program related-travel costs, accommodation, and insurance. Russian language proficiency is preferred though not required at the time of application.
