The Wildlife Science Center, founded in 1991 as a non-profit, serves as an educational resource for all ages by providing exposure to a variety of wild animals, including the largest resident wolf population in the United States. SciTechsperience is a free, statewide, state-funded program that connects college students majoring in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) to paid internships in small to mid-sized Minnesota companies. Eligible companies must have fewer than 250 employees worldwide. These internships offer students valuable hands-on industry experience that helps them bridge the gap between classroom and career. Companies benefit by building their talent pipeline and receiving a wage reimbursement that covers 50% of the intern’s wages (capped at $2,500).
