MCCP Request for Information
This is the Minitex Contract Cataloging Program Request for Information. Fill out this survey to get a Quote and Service Agreement from the MCCP Manager. Filling out this form does not obligate you to anything, it's just information that helps us understand your needs. Any questions about this survey or program can be directed to the MCCP Manager: Elissah Becknell at ejbeck@umn.edu.

Minitex Contract Cataloging Program (MCCP) provides catalog records meeting the standards of Resource Description and Access (RDA), including the assignment of access points for names, titles, and series. MCCP cataloging practice includes RDA core elements and those additional elements required and recommended by the Program for Cooperative Cataloging (PCC) through their BIBCO Standard Record Metadata Application Profiles (MAPs), which are equivalent to OCLC Encoding Level I cataloging. You can read more information about our cataloging practices in the MCCP Prospectus, please email Elissah Becknell if you would like a copy.

Library Information
Our South Central College cataloger and serials librarian had his position cut. We have a backlog of titles that I need help with, but I'm most interested in serials title help. I'm afraid out budget is small, but we might be able to hire out short-term until caught up. Thank you - Heather
