Background:
As you know, FIPCC consists of six sessions designed to introduce the foundations of interprofessional team-based communication and collaboration. The interprofessional groups of students meet on designated Friday afternoons during fall semester. The FIPCC groups are facilitated by faculty, healthcare leaders from the community, and student leaders committed to IPE. Advanced students are invited to serve as FIPCC student facilitators alongside the faculty to facilitate interprofessional discussion. We hope you consider this opportunity!

Eligibility Requirements:
* Upper-level (not in first year of program) health professions student, currently enrolled at the University of Minnesota
* Experience or past participation in interprofessional teams, organizations, courses, co-curricular and/or volunteer activities.
* Understands the importance of interprofessional collaboration and teamwork, as it relates to patient/client care.
* Commit to attending at least three of the session dates. If students cannot commit to three sessions but would still be interested in providing assistance in another manner, such as assisting the 1Health team with course revisions, etc., we would be interested in hearing from those students, too.
Please note that students are not automatically excused from any existing coursework that might conflict with the dates/times listed above; any students who wish to participate as a FIPCC student facilitator would be taking on the role in addition to existing coursework and other obligations unless they have the permission of their appropriate school supervisor. The 1Health team and program-specific course owners will be involved in the vetting process of interested student facilitators.
