Thank you for your interest in professional captioning through the Kaltura media management platform. As noted at https://z.umn.edu/kalturaprofessionalcaptions, captions created by human professionals through Kaltura are a for-pay service. Professional captioning jobs are billed to the next minute. The cost to departments is:

• $85 per hour of English language content with a "best effort" turnaround time, usually less than seven days;
• $100 per hour of English content with a 48 hour turnaround time;
• $190 per hour of non-English content.

OIT will need your Enterprise Financial System (EFS) billing information so your account can be charged for the work when you order captions for a specific video in Kaltura.
