The cost of textbooks is a concern not just to students but also to staff and faculty of the University of Minnesota Duluth. There are several initiatives and programs that can help reduce the cost of textbooks, such as:
- The library's Course Content Support initiative which purchases course assigned etextbooks with access for unlimited users
- Support and workshops for developing and using Open Educational Resources (OER's)
- Development of the the new Library Course Pages Canvas interface that brings our Reserves, ebooks, and research guides into each Canvas Course.
