Representative Agreement Application
The University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) works with education agents from around the world. International education agents interested in partnering with UMD must first apply to be a Recruitment Representative.

To apply to become a UMD Recruitment Representative, education agencies must complete a 3-step screening process.

Step 1: Complete the Representative Agreement Application. By completing this application, you are declaring that the information provided is true, complete and accurate. Submitting an application does not guarantee approval. Applications are reviewed and considered based on strategic enrollment goals and needs for representation in select markets around the world.

Step 2: Provide contact information for 5 references from U.S. institutions with whom you have worked in the past. Scanned reference letters will not suffice. The University will review the application and references to determine whether your services align with UMD recruitment standards, strategies and goals. Your references will be contacted directly.

Step 3: Interview - If the University is satisfied with your application and reference information, you will be invited to interview (typically via Zoom) to discuss your strategies in more detail.

Step 4: Approved Recruitment Representatives are placed on a standard, one year trial period contract and will be provided with comprehensive training on UMD's programs and admission requirements.

All successful Recruitment Representatives must sign UMD's standard Representative Agreement contract.
