Why CDG Exists?

To serve those who need help with conflicts that arise in their daily lives. In accordance with our mission, we are here to co-labor with community members to break down conscious and unconscious manifestations of racism.

Who We Serve?

Our service is free* to all who need it. A priority focus is on individuals and communities of under-served and/or marginalized backgrounds (*10hrs or 2-3sessions). Contact us if you think we can be of service or support.

Are you having fights with a friend, neighbor, landlord, or semi-familiar stranger? Are you needing support peacefully-DeEscalating yourself or someone else? Onsite CDG help is available for questions, support and/or resource-access. We're at 2 Twin Cities locations.

Thursdays 12 - 4pm: Golden Thyme Cafe, 934 Selby Avenue, 55104, within the Rondo Neighborhood, St. Paul

Questions You May Have

Who Makes Up The CDG?

They are our neighbors and friends. And are of all hues, orientations and faiths, here to serve, support and stem the conflict (so it does not escalate). They are also conflict practitioners and specialists, who commit first to doing no harm while providing conflict support.

What is our de-escalation approach?

Preventative and Real-time support rooted in respect. Preventative includes our ongoing weekly jazz sessions  and on-call conflict coaching. While Real-time support ranges from low-to-mid level conflict situations. Contact us to connect and learn more.

Where to find CDG support?

We're based in the Twin Cities area. Virtual-visits contact us or call 651-447-8686 to connect. In-person options are by appointments at several pop-up locations including Thursdays from 12-4pm at Golden Thyme Café within the historic Rondo Neighborhood and Fridays at CTUL within George Floyd's Square, from 9AM-12PM.
