Owned Brand/Strategy and Operations Manager Target Corporation A native of Jackson, Mississippi, Le’Spencer Walker studied industrial and systems engineering at Philadelphia University. His work at Target blurs the lines between engineering and design and has spanned many product categories, earning him seven patents and a role co-leading the design direction for Target’s Black History Month collection. Making a positive impact drives him and elevates his passion to create. Authenticity and a balanced personal and professional life bring out his best self and serve as the foundation and inspiration for his ideas.

maura rockcastle Co-founder and Principal TEN x TEN

Maura Rockcastle, PLA, ASLA, has extensive experience working on large-scale projects, managing and navigating multi-headed stakeholder groups, and complex public processes. Her professional experience is focused on cultural, institutional, and public realm projects including the High Line Section 1, Times Square Reconstruction, and Historic Fort Snelling Revitalization. Her work spans many scales of landscape from 4,500-acre parks, to five-acre urban plazas, to small collaborative art installations. She holds a BFA from Cornell University, an MLA from the University of Pennsylvania, and has taught design studios at Harvard GSD, Yale School of Architecture, and the UMN College of Design.

Debra (Deb) Barnes is a principal, vice president and general manager for Henricksen’s Minneapolis office. She is responsible for leading sales, operations, strategy and brand innovation for the national commercial furniture dealership. She has also worked at HGA, leading projects with clients such as Star Tribune, Sleep Number, Accenture and Wipfli. A certified interior designer and a graduate of the University of Minnesota, Deb’s career experiences also include working in commercial real estate and hospitality development. She has volunteered extensively to support Interior Design advocacy and women’s advancement including serving as chapter president for both IIDA and MNCREW.

Founder and Creative Director Winsome Goods Kathryn Sterner is the founder and creative director of Winsome Goods, a Minneapolisbased clothing brand and production studio that pushes the boundaries of small-scale sustainable clothing by creating unique, versatile garments that are designed, made, and sold in the same space. Always seeking innovative solutions, Kathryn recently guided Winsome toward a zero-waste fabric system by expanding their collection to include concept-driven products made entirely from textile waste. Before founding Winsome Goods in 2014, Kathryn studied clothing design at the University of Minnesota and worked as a designer at Target Corporation.

VP, Brand Experience and Environmental Design KNOCK, inc. Drawn from over two decades of experience, Reginaldo Reyes has a deep understanding of how end-users interact with brands and make decisions at every touchpoint during their purchasing journeys. He has worked in retail store and corporate office design, product design and development, and in-store marketing with companies including Hallmark, Marshall Fields, and Target. In his current position at KNOCK creative agency, he serves as a strategic design partner for clients in the retail, healthcare, hospitality, education, and non-profit sectors. He also shares his expertise on nonprofit boards for Art Buddies and Theater MU, and through various mentor programs.

emily hunt turner Founder and CEO All Square

Emily Hunt Turner is a civil rights attorney with a background in architecture, law, and public policy. She is the Founder and CEO of All Square, a nonprofit social enterprise that invests in formerly incarcerated leaders through an entrepreneurial fellowship and a forthcoming law firm. Prior to All Square, Emily spent five years as an attorney for the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), tackling issues of housing discrimination and segregation. She lives in Minneapolis with her wife, Melanie Hoffert.

Product Insights Researcher Target Corporation Beau Sinchai is a human-centered designer and researcher with experience in the social, commercial, and academic sectors. Currently, she is a product insight researcher for Target’s owned brands portfolio. In 2014, she started Koonyai Studio, an architectureinspired jewelry business that has products available in boutiques and museum stores nation-wide. Trained as a designer at the University of Minnesota and the Cranbrook Academy of Art, her work has been part of numerous exhibitions and earned a permanent collection space at the Cranbrook Art Museum.
